Cheerio Adventures
Wilderness adventure program
Join us for an Adventure Camp experience like no other! Cheerio Adventures specializes in camp sessions from 3 days up to 14 days of unforgettable adventures. We are a Christian based adventure camp located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the New River. The camp is for boys and girls ages 10-17. All groups consist of 8-12 participants, to maximize the adventure experience and promote strong and long lasting friendships. Our focus on helping young people learn more about themselves, strengthen self-confidence, leadership, teamwork skills, is accomplished while challenging them in a safe and fun Christian setting. All equipment is provided.
Trips take place in NC, TN, VA and WV. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, backpacking, caving, mountain biking, sailing, wind surfing and more.

Bach To Rock - America's Music School
Coed Music Day Camp
B2R's unique method is based on the knowledge that students learn best when they join together to play the music they like the most. That's why we use special arrangements of the music of our time and combine individual lessons with band instruction. Weekly "jam sessions" lead to Battles of the Bands and recording sessions in B2R Studios, our own professional recording facilities. B2R also holds regularly scheduled public concerts that encourage students to become seasoned performers. These creative group activities foster teamwork, build self-esteem and motivate students to perfect their musicianship through independent practice.
Each Summer Camp session meets for four hours per day, Monday through Friday. Morning (9:30 - 1:30) or afternoon (1:30 - 5:30) sessions are offered from mid-June through August. Winter camp is offered during the Christmas holidays and spring camp for one week in late March.

Road's End Farm is a small summer camp that appeals to girls who love being around horses, caring for them, and riding for enjoyment rather than competition. Being an integral part of a 360 acre farm with 45 saddle horses and 20 miles of bridle paths, the camp program provides campers with unlimited exposure to horses and rural life in a picturesque setting at the end of a quiet road. Lake swimming, river canoeing, and arts & crafts round out a camp program that also allows each camper free time to pursue personal interests.

We're often complemented on our scenic setting; our 130 acre campus borders the Shenandoah National Park near Luray, Virginia. The mighty Shenandoah River is at our doorstep. Makemie Woods specializes in FUN, while developing self-esteem, a sense of community and belonging and fostering growth in Christ. We offer a wide variety of overnight options and specialty programs for children who have finished kindergarten, through Senior High.

Camp Piankatank

Camp Piankatank is a Christian camp for boys and girls located on the beautiful Piankatank River, on the coast of Virginia. We offer overnight adventure camps where campers experience a variety of activities and also overnight specialty camps focusing on sailing, canoeing/kayaking, sports or horseback riding. Camps offered are for ages 7-17.
In all of our activities we teach Biblical principles and campers attend worship services twice daily.
Our camp offers a wonderful, spiritually uplifting week of camp for all. Our staff are highly trained and all are over the age of 18. Campers do not need to be baptist or a member of a church to attend, we have campers from all backgrounds attend.

Camp Hollymont for Girls

Are you or your daughter (age 6-15) looking for a vibrant Christian atmosphere and a variety of activities designed to foster physical, emotional, spiritual, and social growth? Camp Hollymont is a residential camp surrounded by the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains. We lease the property of The Asheville School, a private boarding school. Campers live in dorm-style housing and enjoy beautiful grounds and athletic fields, an air conditioned dining hall, and an athletic complex with a large indoor pool.
Choose from daily activities (skills) such as horseback riding, swimming, tennis, archery, sewing, cooking, arts & crafts, drama, basketball, soccer, dance, and more! Night activities include theme nights, talent shows, scavenger hunts, campfires, etc. Elective off-campus trips include whitewater rafting, waterskiing, and Biltmore Estate excursions.
Camp staff are evaluated and selected on the basis of spiritual, emotional, and social maturity and the ability to teach skills.

Live your Rock Star dreams this summer! Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player, DayJams offers you the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. You'll work with professional musicians and teachers in a friendly and creative environment.
DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Our professional staff of music teachers, art teachers, and counselors is committed to providing a safe, fun-filled week of music and creativity.
Camp Hanover

Camp Hanover is a Christ-centered coed residential camping program working with campers ages 7-17 who come from all walks of life. We seek to provide an accepting atmosphere where each camper is encouraged to make new friends, face new challenges, be themselves, make positive contributions to our Christian community, laugh lots, explore their faith more deeply, and learn about serving others. We offer traditional, mission, high adventure, and specialty camps.
Our small group camping model brings 8-12 campers together with two counselors. The group works, plays, worships, and grows into a caring and accepting community as they participate in sessions of 48 hours up to two weeks. We are located just 90 miles west of Washington DC, in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains of West Virginia where the base of North Mountain and the shores of the Cacapon River meet to surround our 200-acre campsite. TIC Summer Camp

Since 1983, TIC has offered technology and sports in the Washington DC area. Boys and girls, ages 7 to 16, come to TIC not just to explore technology, but for a kind of personal attention (4:1 camper/staff ratio), excitement and creativity rarely found elsewhere. Our half day sports program offers a physical challenge to balance the mental stimulation of the technology half day. At TIC kids learn by having fun!
Four two-week sessions where campers design their own project in one of the following: programming, video, animation, robotics, web design, and digital music. Sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, frisbee, flag football, gymnastics; extra cost options available in drama and tennis.

FOR THE YOUNG PERSON WHO LOVES HORSES AND RIDING! Ride all day, experience different horses, and different riding styles: Hunters, jumpers, western, dressage and even Walking Horses. We teach balanced seat, European style riding which is the basis for western, hunt and dressage. Understand the mechanics of horse movement and the principals of horse thought. Learn training techniques with personalized instruction, and concentrate on improving your skills. Our philosophy encourages exploration of a wide range of horse experience and understanding of how the different schools of training fit together. Each camper will ride two- four different horses a day, depending on their skill level and interest. Bring your own horse if you have one and learn how to get the best out of him. Small numbers and individualized instruction makes each camper's experience unique. Memories by the minute!

The Terps Soccer Camps for Girls is once again proud to host residential camps and day camps this summer. Our camp coaching staff is comprised of our University of Maryland Women's Soccer Coaches and Student-Athletes (prior and current). We are pleased to have a number of other college coaches represented during the Residential Camps.
You can find all of the necessary information about the Terps Soccer Camps for Girls on our website. As always, there will be two residential camps on our campus this summer. We will host, for the first time ever, a day camp on our campus in College Park. We will continue to host our off-site day camp as well, at Sandy Spring Friends School in Olney, MD. We look forward to another fabulous summer together!!!
