Camp Ak-O-Mak
Residential girls' summer camp
Founded in 1928, Camp Ak-O-Mak is one of North America's finest sports camps, renowned for its competitive and open water swimming programs. Ak-O-Mak provides the perfect combination of a traditional summer camp experience with instruction in over 32 sports/activities. Competitive programs are offered in swimming, triathlon, and canoe/kayak sprint racing, for all levels, overseen by visiting professional coaches.
Ak-O-Mak is located on beautiful Ahmic Lake in the unspoiled Almaguin Highlands of Ontario. Our location provides the perfect setting for girls to appreciate the wonders of nature "unplugged" from the stresses of urban life. Ak-O-Mak helps girls discover the exhilaration of pushing oneself a little further, of digging a little deeper and discovering that "I CAN do it!" feeling which one carries into other aspects of life. It has been said that "Self esteem is gained through the self doing things worthy of esteem!" and we have 80 years of alumni who can attest to this. Ak-O-Mak's smaller size (maximum 100 campers and a 3:1 staff:camper ratio) fosters a closely knit atmosphere where all ages get to know, support and encourage each other. These relationships contribute to the safe environment where girls can develop their athletic skills and experience challenges that enhance personal and social development. Wellspring Camps
Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camps
Wellspring Camps provide a scientifically-based behavioral change program focused on long-term weight loss. The goal of Wellspring Camps is to expose campers who are more than 20 pounds overweight to different ways to get in shape and lose weight so that they continue to be active after camp ends.
Campers are typically grouped by age and gender, maximizing the program for each participant's needs and body type. In addition to recreational activities, campers meet with doctorate-level behavior coaches to make long-lasting changes in attitude and self esteem.
With a Wellspring Camp near you, you can enjoy the benefits of a scientifically based approach, a large pool of resources, smaller programs than traditional weight loss camps, diet camps or fat camps, and the chance to implement healthy lifestyle change in a supportive and fun environment. This summer, you may choose from 12 Wellspring programs: New York, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, California, Texas, Hawaii, Vancouver, United Kingdom, Wellspring Academy and Wellspring Family Camp.

Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring Vancouver will teach teens ages 11 - 18 from around Canada and the United States, including those in the Pacific Northwest, how to live a healthy lifestyle. Using the picturesque setting and local adventure options, Wellspring campers will hike, bike, climb, kayak, rappel, as well as participate in more traditional camp activities and sports - soccer, volleyball, scavenger hunts, Color War, and personal training.
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a "BC" (Behavioral Coach) in group and individual sessions knits these elements together into comprehensive lifestyle change for rapid weight loss and long-term weight control.

A private independent camp, with emphasis on traditional camping blended with a fresh approach of choosing from over 30 activities, with specialized training at each activity-Personal growth of campers and respect are integral to the camp culture.
It's easy for campers to have fun and even make friends at camp but the goal is for your child to make unique types of friendships; friendships that last a lifetime and for campers to grow up in a community that teaches respect, tolerance, and an appreciation for what the world has to offer. With 190 staff (one third college graduates!) for just over 400 campers we are able to meet the individual needs of every single child.
Activities include almost all sports, arts, and outdoor adventure. Session length: two weeks (for youngest campers), four weeks or seven weeks.

Coed Soccer Day CampThe Royal City Soccer Club is celebrating our 18th annual summer soccer camp. With over 50 locations in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, we are the #1 grassroots soccer camps in Canada. Our program is designed to offer soccer in the morning and a leisure swim and camp games in the afternoon. Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 13 can register. We offer full day, morning and afternoon sessions with early drop off and late pickup times at no extra charge. We operate during July and August. Camp Evergreen is a Christian summer camp for kids and youth ages 6 - 18, located 14KM south of Sundre, Alberta. We also offer family camps, and adventure and horseback out trips.
