Camp Highlander
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the mountains of North Carolina, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our qualified and caring staff are able leaders, dedicated to providing each child with an exciting summer of adventure, while maintaining the highest standards of safety in all programs.
Our program consists of over 35 on-camp activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. One thing that makes Camp Highlander so unique is our wonderful off-camp adventures. Whitewater rafting trips to the Nantahala River, overnights in Pisgah Forest, water-skiing at Lake Keowee, swimming in the beautiful waterfalls and Looking Glass Falls . . . taking our campers into the magical Appalachian mountains is the highlight of their experience. At Camp Highlander, we are committed to teaching our campers a deep respect for nature and an increased awareness of not only themselves, but of their peers and surroundings.

Residential boys' summer camp
WHAT A DAY!!! BOY AM I ENTHUSIASTIC!!! The overall purpose of Camp Carolina is to make a boy's summer experience safe, fun, memorable and a valuable factor in his complete development. The key to camp is the staff. A counselor's most important characteristic is being a positive role model.
We offer TRADITIONAL in camp activities and HIGH ADVENTURE in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Activities include: mountain boarding, mountain biking, caving, wakeboarding, paintball, rock climbing, skateboarding, horseback, rafting, kayaking, surfing, yoga, archery/Rifelry and many more fun and exciting activities. Camp Timberlake
Residential boys' summer camp
Located high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Camp Timberlake for Boys has a long history of offering youngsters the most memorable summers of their lives. We strive not only to provide a summer of fun recreation but, in a larger sense, to develop a camper's character so that they will be stronger spiritually, mentally and physically.
Outstanding Instruction, Structured Program, Christian Staff, Exceptional Riding Program. Activities include: Archery, Kayaking, Swimming, Backpacking, Mountain Biking, Soccer, Canoeing, Riding, Tennis, Climbing, Riflery, Wrestling, Fencing, Rocketry, Guitar, Ropes Course.
Camp Merri-Mac
Residential girls' summer camp
Located high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Merri-Mac has a long history of offering girls the most memorable summers of their lives with outstanding Christian staff.
Through participation in carefully selected, fun-filled activities, campers experience a series of successes and the exhilaration of accomplishment developing a stronger sense of self-worth and an adventuresome attitude. A highly skilled, mature, and caring staff (ratio of 1 to 3.5) are selected for their ability be strong role models for our campers.

Green River Preserve
Residential, coed natural science summer camp
Play under waterfalls, track wild animals, explore mountain forests with naturalists. Green River Preserve is a 3400 acre wildlife preserve and summer camp for bright, curious, and creative children. Serving rising 2nd through 9th graders, our camp is nurturing, noncompetitive and purposefully small with enrollment limited to 104. After morning hikes, campers choose from over 20 elective activities including rock climbing, pottery, archery, fly fishing, music, art and drama. 1, 2 and 3 week sessions are available.
For rising 9th through 12 graders, we offer Green River Expeditions- two-week canoeing, backpacking and kayaking adventures which follow the Green River tradition of combining learning with exploration.
