A summer arts camp with a unique program that caters to campers who want to immerse themselves in THE PERFORMING ARTS and FINE ARTS. You choose what you want to do in Drama, Dance, Music, Film, Circus, Fine Arts, Water Front, Rock Bands, Magic and fun sports. For ages 10 to 16 experienced or beginners are welcome.

We specialize in Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Dance, Music, Waterfront and have great fun sports. We offer 3, 6 and 9 week sessions.

Camp Kinder Ring has been making memorable summers for over 80 years. No matter what your child is interested in: sports, aquatics, drama, arts & crafts, or even horseback riding, we have it. We offer a warm Jewish secular environment that inspires life-long friendships.

Activities include all land sports, creative and performing arts, waterfront programs on beautiful Sylvan Lake and in our olympic-size pool, travel programs for older campers, outdoor adventure including high and low ropes, etc. Facilities include 8 sports fields, a track, indoor gymnasium, 10 tennis and 3 basketball courts all lighted for night play, as well as lit softball field, roller hockey rink, performing arts building, computer lab, weight room, dance studio and more...Camper sessions run 4 and 8 weeks with the majority of campers staying for the full 8 weeks.

French Woods Festival was founded in 1970. The program includes dance, theater, music, circus, magic, visual arts, sports, waterfront and horseback riding programs. French Woods offers children from seven to seventeen a unique opportunity to explore their interests and improve their abilities in a wide variety of performing and visual arts as well as more traditional camp activities.

Each child is able to create a unique schedule that caters to their own individual interests and abilities. Children come from across the United States as well as many countries to participate in our extensive program. Regardless of your abilities, there is a place for you in every program at French Woods Festival. You may attend any or all of our three 3 week sessions.

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+). Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

FOR KIDS ONLY...keep reading! Everything you want from a summer camp is at Fairview Lake YMCA. When you sign up for our traditional sleepaway camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, riflery, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. We also have a horseback riding camp where you get your own horse for 1 or 2 weeks and other specialty camps for tennis, fine arts, sailing/windsurfing. Some of these specialty camps are only for boys and others are only for girls. If you are the adventurous type, you might want to sign up for one of our challenging adventure trips where you can do some real rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing safaris, fishing, biking or cave exploring.

We have over 600 acres of forests and fields, a 70,000-acre national park in our backyard and a mile-long beautiful lake for you to explore. Our kids and counselors come from all over the world. Now in its Silver Anniversary year, SIG offers 20 day and residential programs across the country for gifted and academically talented students who have completed grades K-11. Our 3 week programs help enrich students' lives by creating a community of like-minded peers where students can think, learn, and socialize within a safe environment, gaining independence and self-confidence.
