Founded in 1909, Camp Lincoln for Boys and Camp Lake Hubert for Girls are separate non-sectarian, single gender, traditional camps focusing on skill and character development for boys and girls age 8-17. As some of America's premiere camps, Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert are nestled on the pristine shores of spring-fed Lake Hubert, where over 30 land and water activities take place on our 700 wooded acres of Pine and Birch forests. Only 2.5 hours north of Minneapolis, Lake Hubert is located in the heart of Minnesota's "Great Northwoods" and is 1 mile long and 1.5 miles wide with a soft, sandy bottom. Campers and staff stay in modern cabins complete with bathrooms. In our commitment to excellence, we maintain a 3:1 camper/staff ratio. Camp Olson YMCA is a residential and day camp located on the edge of the Chippewa National Forest in north-central Minnesota. Camp's 1250 acres of north woods property touches the shoreline of five lakes, the largest of which is two square miles in size.

We have an extensive sailing, riding, tripping and traditional crafts program.

Camp Thunderbird for Boys and Camp Thunderbird for Girls are Separate residential, multi-specialty, ACA accredited summer camps that offer a wide variety of water and land activities. Thunderbird is also known for its extensive tripping program. Camp Season begins June and ends August. Sessions are 4 or 8 weeks in length.

Activities include: Blacksmithing, Wakeboarding, Water-Skiing, Canoeing, Sailing, Boardsailing, Swimming, Kayaking, Rock climbing, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Archery, Riflery, Horseback.

Adventure in the Chippewa National Forest develop skills and create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Traditional in-camp program and Canadian canoe expeditions. Boys of all ages choose from a wide-range of in-camp activities and look forward to canoeing, sailing and fishing trips within the Chippewa National Forest or the northern reaches of Canada. Two-, four- and eight-week sessions available. Ages 8 to 17.

Wolf Ridge is an accredited residential environmental school by the North Central Association and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation. Located on 2000 acres above Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota, our summer programs immerse 6 - 18 year olds in hands-on, direct experiences in nature that promote the values of personal growth; conservation and stewardship; social understanding, respect, cooperation; and life-long learning.

Participants can attend for 1 - 4 weeks and can sign up for a variety of programs during that time. Programs Include; Overnight Camps, Day Camps, Summer Academic Programs, and Wilderness Adventure Trips to the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness, Isle Royale National Park or the Apostle Islands. We provide a safe and fun camp environmental where participants will have the opportunity to try new activities such as, adventure ropes, lake ecology, geocaching, rock climbing, canoeing in the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness, kayaking on Lake Superior, cultural history, overnight campouts, backpacking on the Superior Hiking Trail, crafts and recreation. Nestled among the mountainous bluffs of the Mississippi Valley, YMCA Camp Pepin enjoys 200 feet of beachfront along beautiful Lake Pepin on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. We are ACA accredited, and offer traditional camp activities (swimming, field sports, crafts, boating, target sports), Specialty Camps (Theater, Sailing, and Horse Camps), Leadership Camps (LIT and CIT Camps), and Trail Camps (Climbing, Canoeing, Biking, and Hiking Camps).

The Audubon Center of the North Woods, an NCA-accredited residential environmental learning center, is a leader in offering meaningful nature experiences to people of all ages. Through our North Woods Wilderness Adventures, we provide a different kind of summer camp experience - an opportunity to engage teens in nature through a variety of outdoor activities and challenges that promote environmental awareness, compassion, teamwork and an ethic of care for the earth.

Our wilderness adventures start at our center on 535 acres on the east side of Grindstone Lake in east central Minnesota, where campers prepare for their trip by reviewing canoeing and camping skills. Our naturalist staff is highly trained, caring, engaging, knowledgeable, first-aid and CPR-certified. This summer we are offering four wilderness canoe treks that teach teens new wilderness skills and test their limits while building strength and leadership. Camp Icaghowan is Located on a magical island near Amery, Wisconsin on Lake Wapogasset. Activities Include: Traditional Summer Camp, Horseback Riding, Skateboarding, Fishing, Teen Extreme, Tree Climbing, Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Leadership Development and more.

Camp Ihduhapi, located near the Twin Cities on Lake Independence, offers campers their favorite camp activities, new friendships, and a place to call their own. Campers may choose from traditional camp activities and challenging specialty camps such as sailing and horseback riding.

Camp Warren is located on Half Moon Lake near Eveleth, Minnesota. Campers spend their days with trained, caring staff learning new skills and progressing through land and water activities such as swimming, archery, tennis and photography. Emphasis programs in sailing, horseback riding, and canoe trips provide campers with memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Camp Menogyn is located on Bearskin Lake near Grand Marais, MN. Menogyn offers Teen Wilderness Adventures such as canoeing, backpacking and rock climbing trips in the Boundary Waters and across North America. We provide safe, fun and enriching wilderness adventures from 8-50 days long, supported by highly-trained trail counselors and staff.

Camp Voyageur is a small private camp for boys 10-17 located next to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. We lead wilderness trips canoeing, hiking and sea kayaking; 3-16 days. 1 counselor to 4 campers.

In camp activities include waterskiing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, sailing, arts/crafts, and much more.

Picture yourself having a great summer camp experience at Camp Esquagama on Lake Esquagama. You'll be having fun with other campers your same age, sleeping in modern log cabins or in the main lodge, eating in the main lodge, and enjoying the sandy beaches and pine forest our camp has to offer.

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+). Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.

Located on a perfect lake in Minnesota, Camp Birchwood offers campers ages 7 to 17 with a tremendous variety of water sports as well as all kinds of fun things to do on land. With caring, dedicated, and insightful college-age women as instructors, girls have the amazing opportunity to not just "do" activities, but to become very accomplished in many different areas. Girls go home with lots of confidence.

Every day, girls choose four activities they want to do the next day.
