DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. St. Francis Camp is a 19 acre specialty camp for cognitively impaired children and adults. We encourage our campers' use of daily living skills while at camp, and we also follow any special behavior or social plan they may have in place. Most daily activities at St. Francis Camp are camper led and cover one or more of these developmental skill areas: fine motor; gross motor, socialization; and, sensory integration. Examples of these activities are: swimming; boating; fishing; canoeing; paddle boating (all of these are supervised by certified waterfront staff); basketball; volleyball; ice cream socials; hiking; dances; sing-a-longs; arts and crafts; nature study; . . . all the usual summer camp fun plus much, much more!

Van Buren Youth Camp has been building leaders for over five decades. Our programs develop leadership abilities by encouraging personal growth, self-confidence, positive relationships, and individual & group responsibility. Leadership skills are fostered as campers become involved in their daily camp program by preparing campfire skits and songs, working together for daily cabin inspections or participating in daily camp ceremonies.

An interactive week-long day camp that focuses on the human body and health designed for 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. Each day new body systems are explored and healthy habits are emphasized.
Camp runs one week 9:30am - 4:00pm. Campers are engaged in interactive games, dissections, hands-on activities, fieldtrips, and outdoor fun. A T-shirt and snacks are included.
This exciting and hands-on day camp is designed for 2nd - 5th grader with asthma. The goal of camp is to improve self-image and promote independence. campers learn something new abotu the human body and skills to manage asthma each day. Camp staff is comprised of certified asthma specialists and dynamic health educators.
Camp runs 9am-5pm each day for one week in August. Campers engage in hands-on activities related to the human body, learn what asthma really is, review personal triggers, medications, risk factors and self managment. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, a peak flow meter, spacer with activity pack and an asthma action plan
