Residential girls' summer campWalden teaches girls self-reliance, encourages self-confidence, promotes leadership capabilities, and provides an atmosphere where girls can learn to live together, while appreciating others as individuals. Located in a rustic setting on 155 acres in Southern Maine, we have a balance of old traditions with building self esteem and preparing girls for the future with leadership skills. Small enrollment (140 campers, ages 9-15, per session) insures a more personal touch.

Residential girls' summer camp
Fernwood Cove...encouraging participation, exploration and personal growth through simple group living in the outdoors. Our half season traditional program provides girls with a forum to experience new challenges, enhance self confidence, develop skills, and establish enduring friendships in safe, beautiful surroundings. Each camper at Fernwood Cove brings something special to the atmosphere and cooperative spirit. Our unique gathering of girls and caring, mature, professional staff creates a diverse and supportive community.

Camp Kippewa for Girls
Residential girls' summer camp
No two girls are exactly alike. Why should their summers be? Experience customized camping at Camp Kippewa, a unique all-girls overnight camp in Maine for ages 7 to 15. In each 4-week session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily.
The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The program also offers a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Campers enjoy the natural setting of Maine with ocean sailing trips, beach days, wilderness hikes and canoe trips.
The directors at Camp Kippewa believe every girl needs a safe, fun place to make friends, to learn social, artistic, and athletic skills, and to take childhood's steps toward the independence of adulthood. The caring, nurturing ambiance of sleepaway camp at Camp Kippewa sets a girl at ease with who she is, giving her the confidence to make friends easily and feel comfortable about trying challenging new activities.
Our brother camp, Camp Cobbossee, is located just 1/2 mile down the road, also on Lake Cobbosseecontee. Siblings enjoy seeing each other weekly while enjoying their own all-girls camp experience.

Beautifully situated on pristine Lake Fairlee, Lochearn offers 180 girls, ages 8-15, an outstanding summer of fun, friendship, adventure, and personal growth. Professional instruction in over 45 activities, a well integrated program of character education, and a carefully selected staff of wholesome, bright, athletic young woman provide the challenges, resources, and love to help Lochearn girls build strong identities. Residential girls' summer campTradition, leadership, caring, fun and adventure for girls aged 8-15. Camp Runoia is located on more than 85 acres on Great Pond, a crystal clear lake in Central Maine and is about learning to live with other people, sharing ideas and working out differences.
Activities include: sailing, riflery, wind surfing, rowing, kayaking, arts and crafts, drama, camp craft, archery, tennis, soccer, softball, swimming, diving, canoeing, kickball, English horseback riding, ropes course - high and low elements, environmental education, outdoor living skills, and much more!
Tripp Lake Camp
Residential girls' summer camp
Tripp Lake Camp is located in Poland, Maine. We are a traditional 7 week residential summer camp for girls ages 8 to 16. Established in 1911, Tripp Lake Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association. Our program offers a wide range of activities. We are situated on 260 acres, with a mile of shorefront.
Traditional summer camp activities including landsports, waterfront activities, tennis, art, theatre, rock climbing, English riding, golf, gymnastics and many more. Camp opens in late-June and ends in mid-August. We have one, seven-week session.
Camp Matoaka
Residential girls' summer camp
Each summer 275 girls join together and experience the Matoaka blend of fun, spirit and friendship. Campers return home with confidence gained from skills in activities from the arts, athletics, theatre, water sports and adventure.
Programs include water ski, tennis, swimming, boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, English riding (on premises), team sports, gymnastics, dance (hip hop, tap, jazz, ballet), arts & crafts, photography, sewing, dance, theater, music, voice, video communications, radio broadcasting, archery, ropes, mountain biking, and computers.
Camp Vega for Girls

Camp Vega offers girls rich camp traditions and a nurturing environment with unrivaled facilities and the highest level of instruction for all ages, abilities and interests. Vega is located on 300 acres of pristine forest and one mile of lakefront on Echo Lake, recognized by the Department of Interior as one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. Our superb staff help girls develop a positive self-image, challenge themselves at new activities, and make life-long friendships, giving them the strength and self-esteem to discover and follow their dreams.
