Residential boys' summer camp East Orland, Maine

Trip camp with limited enrollment located in East Penobscot Bay Region. Camping trips for everyone lasting four days/three nights each week. Different trip each week. Small groups of 6 people led by licensed Maine Trip Leaders. Canoe lakes, rivers and Penobscot Bay, backpacking on the Appalachian Trail and Baxter State Park, fishing, mountain climbing. CAMPING TRIPS AND CAMPING SKILLS ARE OUR PRIMARY FOCUS. Two week wilderness canoe trips on the Allagash, St. Croix and Moose Rivers for the experienced camper. Nearly every summer, staff and campers build a wood-canvas canoe. More Traditional camp program on weekends at base camp in East Orland. Directed by the Price Family since 1940. No electricity.

Traditional camp activities are offered at our setting on a crystal-clear Craig Pond. We offer swimming, rowing, woods games, campfire and skit night, and the restoration or building of a wood and canvas canoe. The Trip Program will include a variety of canoeing and backpacking trips for each boy. 2-weeks, 3-1/2 weeks, 4-1/2 weeks, or 7 weeks

Camp Cobbossee for Boys
Residential boys' sports camp Winthrop, Maine

Camp Cobbossee is a boys summer sports camp that offers a complete Maine experience in a 4-week session. Camp Cobbossee sits on 125 acres of rustic Maine woodlands and manicured playing fields and features excellent, state-of-the-art sports facilities where professional instructors coach our boys in a friendly atmosphere with tremendous spirit. A Cobbossee camper has a strong interest in participating in sports, improving his skills, learning new things, and having fun. We have an outstanding staff that cares about our campers and are attentive to their needs.

In addition to sports, Camp Cobbossee has an exceptional waterfront on beautiful Lake Cobbosseecontee where boys enjoy waterskiing, sailing, swimming, canoeing/kayaking and more. Our adventure program includes overnight trips where campers learn how to pitch a tent, cook on an open fire and bond with their friends outside of camp. Other activities include hiking, technical climbing, ropes course, hobbies, and special events.

We are located in Casco, Maine about 25 miles from Portland. Nestled on Coffee Pond, Camp Cedar is home to 300 boys age 8-15 and over 150 staff. Netop ("nee-tope") is a Native American word for "friend". Friendship is natural at this overnight camp for boys ages 8-15. With its "four spokes" philosophy, Netop encourages growth and balance in four areas of life - social, mental, physical and spiritual. On 100 acres and a magnificent private lake, Netop offers a wide range of sports, water activities, arts, canoe/mountain trips and traditional games.
