KidShine Performing Arts Day Camps

In a world which increasingly competes for kids' attention and allegiance, KidShine wants to model contagious joy through Christ-centered programs. Our goal is to support your ministry by creating an environment for kids to have fun, creatively express themselves and use their gifts to proclaim their faith.

KidShine is a week of performing arts fun for kids in grades 3-8, or whatever age range you choose within those grades. Each day camp is directed by an experienced KidShine team. We provide the supplies, production equipment, costumes and props -- giving you the freedom to participate as much or as little as you desire. The day camp week is 9AM to 3PM Monday through Friday, with a final performance which will blow your flip-flops off!

Since 1966, Seacamp is the first program dedicated to the education of youth in marine sciences.
Seacamp's location in the Florida Keys allows for a truly unique marine science program, providing an array of activities under the guidance of academically-trained instructors. Students work at their own level of interest, choosing from 24 different areas of study.

Seacamp's SCUBA diving program is open to qualified campers. Courses are designed to give the diver training in SCUBA techniques enabling them to use SCUBA as a tool for underwater research. Satisfactory completion of Basic or Master Diver certification course earns certification through NAUI. Already certified campers choose from our combined marine science/SCUBA courses.

Camp Kateri, an ACA accredited camp, is located 30 minutes south east of Gainesville. Kateri provides week-long overnight camping experiences for girls 6-17 years of age. Residential coed summer camp

A smaller-sized traditional summer camp with extremely close owner supervision. Camp owner Jane Bennett, along with her two children, camp directors Tyran Bennett and Alyson Bennett Gondek are hands-on camp directors with extensive qualifications (see below).

All counseling staff are college students and undergo extensive interviews, background checks and on-site director-led training including five days of climbing and high ropes training led by nationally known trainers, a four-day American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification class led by camp director and Red Cross instructor Tyran Bennett; and Archery certification. Both directors are certified horseback riding instructors and we also send staff to a horseback safety clinic. We top off all this specialty training with a full week of camp policy and activities training immediately prior to camp start.

Our family-type atmosphere means we can get to know every camper; it gives younger campers a feeling of reassurance and belonging and older campers a chance to grow and contribute in a community of support. Our traditional program includes extensive arts/crafts and performing arts as well as sports, aquatics, horseback riding, high adventure and much more.

Camp Victory is a 3 week Residential Wilderness Camp for boys 7-17 who lack self confidence or who are facing behavioral problems in their families or schools. Wilderness adventure program

For over 30 years, SOAR has provided multi-length, adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Recognizing the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Courses are co-ed, and are developed for youth ages 8 - 18 with average or above average intelligence and physical aptitude. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity and caring, enabling them to relate to students and enhance their adventure experience.

Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and kayaking in the Florida Keys; backpacking, and whitewater rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina; surfing and sea kayaking along the California Coast; and horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming and much more. Specialty courses include a trip to the rainforests of Costa Rica, learning to whitewater kayak and even participating in a western rodeo! New programs incude a Northern California Expedition and a traditional camp model in sunny Florida.
