Residential coed summer camp
Gold Arrow Camp is a traditional, resident summer camp for children on Huntington Lake in the Sierra National forest. Boys and girls, ages 6-14, enjoy rustic living and nightly campfires without the distractions of TV, computers, and telephones in a beautiful lakeside setting. Since 1933, children have returned year after year because of the feeling of tradition, community, and belonging that they experience. Through participation in a structured program of over twenty non-competitive watersports and traditional activities, campers are encouraged to try new things, build their skills, and take risks. The result is improved confidence and perseverance.
Campers participate in waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, motorboating, horseback riding, archery, riflery, mountain biking, rock climbing, and much more. Session lengths of 1-4 weeks run June through August. Gold Arrow Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps.

Pathfinder Ranch is nestled in beautiful Garner Valley in Southern California and is adjacent to the San Bernardino National Forest. Pathfinder Ranch offers Boys & Girls Club participants (and others) throughout Southern California and Nevada the opportunity to escape the heat, meet new friends, try new things, and escape to the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains!
Pathfinder hosts eight one-week sessions for campers ages 7-17. Each session offers a wide range of activities for kids to choose from such as: Horseback Riding, Archery, Canoeing, Swimming, Rock Climbing, Arts & Crafts, Hiking, Digital Photography, Team Challenge and Explorer's Club.

Camp Unique is a co-ed boarding and day camp for children ages 7 - 15, nestled in the beautiful coastal foothills above Palo Alto, California on the campus of Woodside Priory School. We offer both Day and Resident camp programs that work to promote a positive self-image by emphasizing learning and growth in a supportive and non-competitive environment. Our camp is for boys and girls aged 5 to 16 years. Camp Ocean Pines- Ocean Adventures

Summer Camp is an important part of being a kid! Kids at Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, CA get to explore different beaches and ocean life on the central coast. "Ocean Adventures" is the theme where kids connect to nature and arts and the sea. Make new friends and explore new places! This resident camp is a perfect blend of nature and adventure for students age 8 - 15. Students at Ocean Adventures will be kayaking in Morro Bay, tide pooling in Cambria, body boarding in Cayucos, swimming at San Simeon cove, and jade hunting and hiking in Big Sur.
Along with great ocean based activities, students will get to try different types of arts and crafts also enjoy many other traditional camp activities. We have three, week-long campouts in Big Sur and Morro Bay and Yosemite! Sleep in tents under magnificent redwoods or at the beach, hike the hidden creeks, camp out under the stars, kayak on the bay, horseback ride on the beach. Nature loving campers will see the endangered California condor, the Stellars' sea lion, and fuzzy sea otters. Meals cooked over the campfire, with evening songs and stories under the stars.

Douglas Ranch Camp is an 80+ year old, family owned and operated, traditional residential & day coed camp. Residential camp is for ages 7-14 and Day camp is for 5-14. We are located on 120 acres in beautiful Carmel Valley, CA. Our unique 4 to 1 ratio of campers to staff provides individualized attention for each child in a structured program of classes in Western riding, swimming, tennis, archery, riflery and crafts. Counselors from across the US and around the world are chosen for their experience working with children, coaching sports, and having values that make them excellent role models. They help campers build self-confidence and social skills to last a lifetime, while encouraging them to try new experiences in a nurturing environment.

SOAR, Inc.
Wilderness adventure program
For over 30 years, SOAR has provided multi-length, adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Recognizing the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Courses are co-ed, and are developed for youth ages 8 - 18 with average or above average intelligence and physical aptitude. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity and caring, enabling them to relate to students and enhance their adventure experience.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and kayaking in the Florida Keys; backpacking, and whitewater rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina; surfing and sea kayaking along the California Coast; and horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming and much more. Specialty courses include a trip to the rainforests of Costa Rica, learning to whitewater kayak and even participating in a western rodeo! New programs incude a Northern California Expedition and a traditional camp model in sunny Florida.

Roughing It is a traditional all-outdoors day camp located on a lakefront site in Lafayette (SF East Bay). Founded in 1972 and voted "Best in the Bay", Roughing It is owned and personally directed by Hobie and Ann Woods, who have over 70 years of combined experience in organized summer camps and youth leadership. Roughing It offers 2, 4, and 8 week programs for children 4 1/2 - 16 years of age.
Campers take part in a balanced variety of activities that emphasis personal growth, skill development, and fun! Activities include Horseback Riding, Trail Riding, Animal Care, Fishing, Rowing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Swimming, Adventure, Sports, Crafts, Outdoors, Environment, Traditional Camp Games, and more. Roughing It also offers specialty English and Western Horse Camps (3rd-10th grade) for beginner to advanced riders.
Transportation is provided at no extra charge. We offer home pickup and pickup at central locations, depending on area. A unique camp designed to meet the needs of individuals with special needs in a beautiful, forest setting. All facilites and activities are accessible and planned with individual abilities in mind. Campers range in age from seven years old to seventy and disabilities range from mild to severe and are physical and/or developmental in nature. The camp program emphasizes independence and social growth.
Camp activities include: swimming, horseback riding, crafts, nature studies, fine arts, sports and recreation, journalism and life skills classes. All activities are adapted to meet the individual needs of each participant.
Cali-Camp Summer Day Camp

Our camp program allows every camper the opportunity to participate in creative outdoor adventures while in a group setting on 20 beautiful and rustic acres in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu.
Activities include: Swimming, horseback riding, tennis, fishing, dramatics, arts and crafts, high and low ropes adventure courses, go-carts, dune buggies, gymnastics and trampolining, hiking, nature lore, stream play, target sports, miniature golf, beach trips, overnights and academic enrichment. Special programs include: one week sessions in: athletics and skilled sports (Cali Sports Camp) and horseback riding (Wrangler Camp) and leadership training (CILTs). Transportation is included in the tuition and you can select any number of weeks and any number of days per week throughout our nine week summer. Cali Camps dates for 2009 are June 22nd to August 21st.

YMCA Camp Sky Y. Our goal is simple, "Make every kid feel like a WINNER". Our staff work together to make every camper feel successful and make friends. Skylake Yosemite Camp

Skylake continues the traditions of a camp founded in 1945 while constantly being updated to be exciting and relevant for today's youth. Our cabins have no electricty as we find candles are much more fun, a lot of singing at campfires, and an atmosphere that creates friendships for a life time. Our schedule is open for the campers to chose the activites they find most appealing. All of the traditional camp activities such as horseback riding, lake swimming, climbing wall, crafts, sports, tennis, and water skiing are available along with special celebration days, Yosemite trips, and contests galore.
Skylake hosts 210 coed campers each session with a staff of 70 counselors. The counselors are primarily college students who have completed a week of on site staff training, cpr and lifesaving certifications, and a proven love of children. Campers come primarily from the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles areas. Charter buses to camp are available from these locations. Skylake also hosts many campers from the east coast and from international locations. Campers are greeted at the Fresno Airport by Skylake staff and driven to the mountain location.
