Camp Playland
Coed Day Camp
In 1957 Walter Bloom started Camp Playland, "the day camp with the away camp atmosphere". Today, Walter's sons, Gary and Richard Bloom, continue the tradition of camping excellence. Gary and his wife, Barbara, own and operate the New Canaan campus of Camp Playland on 18 beautiful, wooded acres. Camp Playland of Redding, located on 36 wooded acres, is owned and operated by Richard and his wife, Barbara.
Camp Playland combines the finest staff with the most beautiful facility to provide children ages 3 to 12 with a safe, fun filled and instructional summer. Activities include swimming in heated pools, athletics, boating and fishing, arts & crafts, archery, nature, theater, tennis, ropes course, and more.
Campers are transported to and from camp in professionally driven school buses.

The weekly co-educational camping experience is offered to youth ages 8-15. Day Camp and Counselor-In-Training Programs also offered.
Activities include: aquatics, archery, arts and crafts, music, dramatics, dance, horsemanship, sports, outdoor education, ropes course, climbing wall, hiking, outpost camping.

The ESF Sporrts Camp, For the boy or girl, ages 7 -14, who simply loves sports! Nine sports featured weekly for beginner, intermediate and advanced level athletes: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Street Hockey, European Team Handball, Lacrosse, Golf, Tennis (selected sites).

Incarnation Camp
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Founded in 1886, Incarnation Camp offers both residential and day camping to boy and girls ages 7-15. Located on 700 wooded acres, which surround a mile-long private lake, Incarnation Camp offers a well-rounded program including traditional camp activities. Teens take part in Adventure Treks.
In the spirit of the traditional camp experience, activities include: boating; water sports; ropes course; archery; hiking; primitive studies; field and team sports; fine arts, such as drama, art, dance, arts and crafts; horseback riding, swimming instruction and more. Teens hike the Appalachian Trail, bike the rail trails of New England and canoe the CT River.

ESF offers three different camps: Day Camp for boys and girls ages 4-8; Sports Camp for boys and girls ages 7-14; and Senior Camp for boys and girls ages 9-15.

Day Camp activities include swimming, arts & crafts, sports, science, performing arts, martial arts, fencing, archery, and special events. Sports Camp activities include soccer, baseball, basketball, flag football, street hockey, European team handball, lacrosse, golf and swimming. Senior Camp activities include swimming, sports, art, cooking, engineering, music production, dance, outdoor adventure, martial arts, fencing, archery and more. 2 to 9 week options. Located on a picturesque 540 acre site surrounding Triangle Lake in Colebrook, Connecticut, Camp Jewell YMCA has both the dedicated staff and facilities to create the finest camp programs anywhere. Throughout the year, campers and participants are given the opportunity to be "caught in the act of doing something good."
Camp Jewell YMCA offers two week summer overnight camp programs which focus on traditional camping and specialty programs such as Ranch Camp, a Leaders In Training Programs, and a wide variety of Teen Adventure Trips.

Make a statement this summer by doing something truly exceptional. Make movies, from script-to-screen! The Filmmakers Ink summer filmmaking day camps offer a University film program experience in a camp setting. This summer we are offering affordable programs in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Acting, Editing and Special FX for ages 8 to 17, serving multiple locations throughout Fairfield County, as well as Middlesex, Hartford, New Haven and Litchfield Counties, and introducing programs in New York City and Massachusetts.
Our staff of award-winning filmmakers will give each of our young filmmakers the tools to find inspiration, and provide you with the chance to be part of the growing community of young filmmakers in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. From script development to creating lighting design and shot lists, the process of making your own film will build confidence, hone your ability to work as a member of a team and leave you with a finished film to add to your portfolio. Coed Day Camps
Lacrosse Camp - age 8-14, 9:00am to 12:30pm- Learn or improve your skills, designed for both beginners & seasoned players, Head Coach - John Long (Director-Litchfield Hills Youth Lacrosse Association)
Puppets Past & Present - age 4-6, 9:30am to 1:00pm- Hands-on workshop (limited to 18 campers/session) headed by local puppeteer & teacher, Dana Jennings Rohn, who has 15 years experience. She is the Director of the St. Michael's Colossal Puppet Theatre Company. Three adults will staff the program.
International Adventure-Brazil Through Dance - age 7-12, 10:00am to 3:00pm, Brazilian dance and music, drumming, Brazilian culture and a little Portuguese. Efraim Silva, the camp instructor, is a Brazilian national capoeira champion (1988) and a Master Teaching Artist. Participants will be divided into groups by age.
ESF Mini Camp

Mini Camp is a fun-filled, first-camp experience that offers a half-day of enrichment through specialized activities for 3 year-old boys and girls. Activities include: Arts and Crafts, Science and Nature, Music, Dramatic Play, Sports, Special Events, and Theme Days. In addition to the specialized activities, Mini Campers also enjoy circle time, mid-morning snack, story time, puppetry, water play, and "The Big Toy" playground facility.
The camp offers 2 - 9 week options, and runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Club O.T., our extended day program, allows campers to arrive at camp as early as 7:30 AM.

Channel 3 Kids Camp provides high quality summer camp programs for Connecticut children aged 8-12. The camp strives to make the program affordable to every Connecticut family. Activities include swimming, sports, archery, arts and crafts, camping, computers, high ropes course, nature and garden, performing arts, and video.
Channel 3 Kids Camp seeks to employ individuals who wish to provide children with the best possible summer experience. Each summer, over 900 campers will attend overnight, day, and Teen Leadership programs. Located in Connecticut, encompassing over 350 rolling acres along a river valley, Channel 3 Kids Camp offers extraordinary natural experiences with major urban centers less than 30 minutes away.

Buck's Rock is an educational institution that has never lost faith in the innate capacity of young people to structure their time intelligently and to use freedom courageously and productively. Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp is a unique teenage program where campers have the freedom to choose their activities in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Campers work with qualified, professional artists and teachers who nurture and support their skills and interests in professionally equipped studios. Our camper/staff ratio is an impressive two to one.

Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 44 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Our campers are encouraged to experience new skills, work with their peers and counselors, develop independence and assume responsibility.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2010 season begins on June 28th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.

The ESF Tennis Camp, for boys & girls 6-15, is divided into full-day, morning, and afternoon programs and offers 1-10 week options. The full-day program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the morning program runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon program runs from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Club O.T., our extended day program, gives you the opportunity to drop off your child(ren) early and pick-up your children late.

The focus at NCC is 2D and 3D video game design, computer programming, digital video production, web page design, A+ and Network+ certification and software applications including networking, animation, Flash and graphics. Cody is an American Camp Association accredited summer camp that provides children with a safe, fun atmosphere to make new friends and enjoy new experiences. Our 3:1 camper-to-counselor ratio is amongst the lowest of any camp and allows us to provide each camper with the utmost individual attention. We are a smaller camp and a perfect fit for a first-time camper.
Cody offers a wide variety of activities and trips taught and lead by college athletes, coaches and seasoned educators. With a guided-choice program and over 25 activities offered daily, campers hone their favorite skills and develop new ones.
