Catalina Island Camps

Catalina Island Camps is a Summer Resident Camp for boys and girls ages 7 through 15. The camp facilities are located at Howlands Landing on the California side of Catalina Island, 22 miles from Southern California. 150-180 boys and girls ages 7 to 15 participate in the camp's waterfront and land programs.
Activities include: sailing, skin diving, water-skiing, sea-kayaking, climbing wall, ropes course, and many others.

A Jameson Ranch Camp experience promotes a wholesome lifestyle. Camp Kodiak

Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.

Gold Arrow Camp is a traditional, resident summer camp for children on Huntington Lake in the Sierra National forest. Techno-tainment Camp is LA's largest technology camp, and is the perfect blend of entertainment, exercise and fun for today's 21st century creative kid. Campers at Techno-tainment Camp work in one-week sessions on chosen projects in a variety of fields, including the opportunity to build upon current projects with two-week Expanded Studio Sessions. Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Located on a beautiful oceanfront campus in Carlsbad, California, Camp Pacific's recreational and surf camps have attracted campers since 1943. Our popular programs attract youth ages 8-16 from across the United States and around the world.
Our goal is to have fun, learn new athletic and recreational skills, develop strong friendships, and build self-esteem through positive experiences. Our experienced staff and diverse activities supply a fun and rewarding summer experience!
Morning: Campers participate in weekly athletic or recreational skill classes.

Coed Day CampEstablished in 1996- The Young Actors Studio, located in Los Angeles, offers conservatory training in two age groups: 7-12 and 13-18. Summer acting camps include acting for the camera, scene study, technique, improvisation, and a production.
There is a two week program that focuses on previously written work, and a five week camp where students work with a commissioned writer on a role specifically created for them. Past commissioned plays have been published in our book: "Three New Plays from the Young Actors Studio." Our artistic director, Jeff Alan- Lee is a former child actor, 20- year child acting teacher, and whose former students include Shia LaBeouf and Scarlett Johannson.

If you're looking for a fun-in-the-sun and an amazing variety of mountain and beach activities, Wellspring California is the place for you. Campers 11 - 18 years old take advantage of the wonderful sunshine, refreshing local waters, and fantastic campus facilities, campers participate in a variety of outdoor activities and watersports. Then, we cool off back on campus in extensive fitness and recreation facilities, including training and aerobic areas, weight rooms, gyms, and swimming pool. Campers share modern, comfortable, air-conditioned dorms as well as dining and common areas.
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a "BC" (Behavioral Coach) in group and individual sessions knits these elements together into comprehensive lifestyle change for rapid weight loss and long-term weight control.
