Inspiring Kids with Sports Summer Camp Activities
Summer sports camps are meant to inspire young people and teach them to cooperate with others, accept challenges, not be afraid to fail, always strive for success and learn about who they are as a person. Sports helps kids learn to navigate through the world with courage and strength, while also working together, being trustworthy and respecting one another. Sports summer camp programs help teens see that every individual has a talent to share and failure does not always mean defeat. The skills gained while attending summer sports camps can last a lifetime and so will the memories.

My son went to day camp for two years, but he loved sports so much, so we found an amazing overnight sports camp in Massachusetts called Camp Winadu. We feel in love with the directors and he loved every moment, he grew as a boy and learnt the values of being a best friend, team-mate and brother. Camp Winadu also has all the traditional activities of a regular summer camp that we were looking for but also had all the sports that he wanted. Without a doubt finding the right summer camp for your child is the most important thing in the world. I know that Camp Winadu will be my son’s home every summer for the next 7 years.
Thanks for the testimonial, Allison. If anyone would like to check out Camp Winadu, they are listed on our Massachusetts summer camps directory page.
