Adventure Travel Camps
Wilderness Adventure Program
Adventure Travel Camps specializes in camps that travel through out New England & the Surrounding States. Teens travel in 15 passenger vans with a cargo trailer on the back with a small SUV with a kayak trailer following behind. Spend 15 to 30 days doing awesome adventures during the day while camping at pristine camp grounds at night.
There is a maximum of 16 kids at the camp and 3 counselors. The teens will participate in many adventures including rock climbing, river kayaking, white water kayaking, white water rafting, hiking, caving, mountain biking skate boarding and much more.

Wellspring New York
Residential Girls' Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring New York is the only weight loss program exclusively for young women, between the ages of 11-24. At Wellspring New York, you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, at a summer weight loss program that will change your life, on the beautiful and comfortable campus of Paul Smith's College right on Lower St. Regis Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State (close to Lake Placid). Wellspring New York offers a 4 week, 6 week or 8 week program.
Because you'll be losing weight alongside young women just like you, you'll find the environment extremely safe and supportive. The young women of Wellspring New York are divided into the separate programs of Lower Camp, Middle Camp, and Upper Camp (18 and older). Wellspring New York utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy in individual and group sessions to maximize weight loss and long-term behavioral change. The cognitive behavioral therapy continues after camp ends through a three-month after-care weight loss program.

Our expeditions are designed to provide a safe and meaningful wilderness experience that balance challenging adventure and exploration with fun. We spend time developing outdoor skills and focus on the group experience.
Wilderness travel, paddling and sailing are the core components to our expeditions, and students leave with a solid foundation of skills so that they can pursue and become competent in these activities in the future. Activities include backpacking, sea kayaking, whitewater rafting and kayaking, coastal sailing, community service and surfing.
Camp Winaukee
Residential boys' summer camp
Camp Winaukee enjoys a reputation as one of the premier boys summer sports and adventure camps in America. Located on Lake Winnipesaukee, the camp offers 7 week sessions as well as shorter sessions of 5 and 6 weeks with limited enrollment. Winaukee has two campuses, a mainland camp for campers ages 7-12 and an Island camp for campers 13-15. The separate camps offer the intimacy of a small camp setting with the breadth and diversity of programming of a larger camp. The atmosphere at each of the two age-appropriate camps is unique. The camps are run separately, and each has its own facilities, playing fields, courts, bunks, playhouse and dining hall.

Camp Pinehurst

Facing the sunset on the sandy shore of Crescent Lake, Camp Pinehurst is a traditional summer camp for boys and girls that emphasizes skill development, outdoor adventure and teamwork. Camp Pinehurst boasts an experienced, highly qualified staff and an individualized daily schedule for each camper. This combination allows children the opportunity to achieve success in a safe and supportive environment.
Activities include Red Cross swimming, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, knee-boarding, kayaking, tennis, soccer, basketball, model rocketry, yoga, dance, archery, riflery, mountain biking, overnight canoe trips, whitewater rafting and hiking trips. White Mountain Summer

White Mountain Summer is proud to offer students ages 13-16 amazing adventures! The emphasis and goal of all White Mountain Summer programs is for our students to have an incredibly fun adventure. We work hard to build a community that supports teens and gives them the freedom and confidence to be their best selves. We provide a safe and fun environment for them to try new and exciting things, make new friends, and explore their world.
The White Mountain School has partnered with Adventure Treks to create the safest, most substantive, and most exciting adventures for young people through our personal attention to every student, our caring, and our competence. If you are 13 or 14, New England Exploration goes whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing and backpacking, all in a 16-day trip. For ages 15-16, we offer the Ultimate Northeast Adventure! The name says it all. Between these two trips, we have White Mountain Climbing Camp, which is available to both age groups.

Concord Academy Summer Camp, set in beautiful and historic Concord, Massachusetts, offers summer programs for ages 3 to 15. Our mission is to create a child-centered environment where campers can learn life skills, participate in stimulating activities, interact with other children their age, and be guided by caring adults.
We offer specialized camps in various sports, arts, and educational focuses as well as a general camp where kids can choose the activities they participate in every day. Registration is on a weekly basis.
Windsor Mountain International
Residential coed summer camp
Windsor Mountain International was founded in 1961, as Interlocken International Camp and leads young people to discover the magic of creating friendships across cultures. At Windsor Mountain International SUMMER CAMP, activities include sports, theatre, arts and crafts ranging from stained glass to Batik, festivals, music such as guitar, and Jamaican steel drumming, as well as a wide range of outdoor adventure including rock-climbing, camping, kayaking, and a world class ropes course. Last summer Windsor Mountain represented 29 countries which gives campers an opportunity to learn about a broad variety of cultures while making lifetime friends from around the world. Sessions are 26 days. We also offer a two-week intro program for new campers.
Windsor Mountain offers exciting summer TRAVEL PROGRAMS for students in grades 6-12. All our travel programs are creative adventures focusing on building friendships among diverse cultures, and include community service learning, leadership training, language opportunities, cross cultural exchanges and environmental explorations. Travel destinations include Puerto Rico, Caribbean, China, Southern Africa and Peru. We also have a NEW ENGLAND ADVENTURE program for students in grades 6-8, which can be combined with a session of summer camp.
Camp Nashoba North
Coed Camp with Residential and Day Sessions
Nashoba North offers a wonderful summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, Nashoba North is nestled on ninety-five acres of pinewoods and open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views and serene peacefulness.
We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Nashoba has tennis, soccer, theater, dance, archery, pottery, baseball, basketball, woodworking, animal care, art, rock-climbing, and much more! Extensive riding and golf programs. We have an energetic staff in a supportive atmosphere with an fantastic 3 to 1 camper/staff ratio. Excellent health care staff.
Nashoba North is a non-sectarian ACA accredited camp. International campers are welcome. 4, 7, and 8 week sessions; two 1-week horseback riding program; 15 Discovery program for first time campers in grade 5 or below.

Lawrence Academy Summer Programs offers three types of one-week summer day camps: Traditional, Specialty, and Sports. The 100- acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 35 program offerings for children entering grades 1-11. There is a camp for every age and every interest.
Lawrence Academy Summer Programs is dedicated to providing the families wholesome recreational and educational summer activities. Lawrence Academy strives to maintain a staff of career educators who are skilled in the programs they direct and of young counselors who serve as positive role models for our campers.
Camp Cobbossee for Boys
Residential boys' sports camp
Camp Cobbossee is a boys summer sports camp that offers a complete Maine experience in a 4-week session. Camp Cobbossee sits on 125 acres of rustic Maine woodlands and manicured playing fields and features excellent, state-of-the-art sports facilities where professional instructors coach our boys in a friendly atmosphere with tremendous spirit. A Cobbossee camper has a strong interest in participating in sports, improving his skills, learning new things, and having fun. We have an outstanding staff that cares about our campers and are attentive to their needs.
In addition to sports, Camp Cobbossee has an exceptional waterfront on beautiful Lake Cobbosseecontee where boys enjoy waterskiing, sailing, swimming, canoeing/kayaking and more. Our adventure program includes overnight trips where campers learn how to pitch a tent, cook on an open fire and bond with their friends outside of camp. Other activities include hiking, technical climbing, ropes course, hobbies, and special events.
Additionally, families can take advantage of our sister camp, Camp Kippewa, which is located 1/2 mile down the road and on Lake Cobbosseecontee.
Camp Kippewa for Girls
Residential girls' summer camp
No two girls are exactly alike. Why should their summers be? Experience customized camping at Camp Kippewa, a unique all-girls overnight camp in Maine for ages 7 to 15. In each 4-week session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily.
The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The program also offers a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Campers enjoy the natural setting of Maine with ocean sailing trips, beach days, wilderness hikes and canoe trips.
The directors at Camp Kippewa believe every girl needs a safe, fun place to make friends, to learn social, artistic, and athletic skills, and to take childhood's steps toward the independence of adulthood. The caring, nurturing ambiance of sleepaway camp at Camp Kippewa sets a girl at ease with who she is, giving her the confidence to make friends easily and feel comfortable about trying challenging new activities.
Our brother camp, Camp Cobbossee, is located just 1/2 mile down the road, also on Lake Cobbosseecontee. Siblings enjoy seeing each other weekly while enjoying their own all-girls camp experience.

Vermont Adventure Camps offers camps for teens ages 11 to 17 years old. The camps offer a large variety of outdoor activities for all ability levels. Each camp session is a little different but there is always a 4:1 camper counselor ratio. You do not need experience, but rather the enthusiasm and willingness to try new things and meet new people.
Six Day 11 & 12y/o Adventurer Camps:
We offer 8 five day adventure camps for kids 11 & 12. The kids stay in our Adventure Lodge and go on adventures each day.
Six Day 13 & 14y/o Adventurer Camps:
We offer 8 five day adventure camps for teens 13 & 14. The kids stay in our Adventure Lodge and go on adventures each day.
2 Week Adventure Camps:
We also offer adventure camps for teens 14 to 17. These are residential camps and kids stay at our Adventure Lodge.

Acadia Rock Climbing and Adventure Camp

Acadia Mountain Guides offers small group coed camp experiences for ages 6 - 8, 9 - 12 and ages 13 - 18.
Our Explorer Series for young campers features multi-sport adventure and focused climbing camps primarily within Acadia National Park in Maine. These four day camps are available in day or overnight formats. Adventure camps include a diversity of activities such as rock climbing, ropes course, hiking, nature study, canoeing, caving, swimming, first aid and survival skills. Our specialized rock climbing camps focus on rock climbing and related skills.

Our tiered climbing camps offer something to all levels of rock climbers from those just starting out who want to learn the ropes to advanced sport and traditional lead climbing camps. Outward Bound
Wilderness adventure programs worldwide
Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Situated in the pristine wilderness of Maine's beautiful Belgrade Lakes region, Camp Modin is the oldest Jewish camp in New England. Located on a private, unspoiled lake, our 375 campers enjoy a community-oriented environment in which they can learn, grow and develop lifelong friendships, all in a Jewish cultural environment.
